The Morgan County Master Gardeners Foundation’s annual plant sale returns on April 13-14 at Point Mallard Park.
The sale will offer an array of options, from hanging baskets to native plants. The event promises something for every gardening enthusiast.
Attendees can explore a selection of hanging baskets, annuals, perennials, shrubs, vegetables, herbs, succulents, and renowned pass-along plants native to the South.
Ramsey Huffman, president of the Morgan County Master Gardeners Foundation, encourages patrons to arrive early for the best selection. Pre-planted containers and hanging baskets will be ready for any patio or porch.
Expert gardeners will be stationed at the Ask A Master Gardener table, offering advice and conducting free soil pH testing throughout the event. Attendees are welcome to bring soil samples for testing. A typical sample should fill half of a 1-quart plastic storage bag.
The plant sale will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 13 and 1 to 4 p.m. on April 14. The sale will be held even if it rains.
Payments can be made by check or cash only. Service dogs are the only animals permitted at the venue.
