Challenger Matthew Frost unseats longtime Morgan Commissioner Don Stisher

Challenger Matthew Frost defeated longtime Morgan County Commissioner Don Stisher on Tuesday in the Republican primary runoff for the commission’s District 3 seat.

With 97.56% of the vote counted in unofficial returns, Frost had 2,886 votes, or 75.27%, to Stisher’s 948 votes, or 24.73%.

The race was the only one on the runoff ballot, and voter turnout was just 4.40%.
