Priceville boys’ golf makes first state tournament appearance

The Priceville boys golf team will play in their first state championships after finishing second in the Class 4A boys substate tournament at Silver Lakes Golf Course in Glencoe.

The Bulldogs finished nine shots back of Haleyville, who shot 298. Sammy Holmes led Priceville by shooting 72, Drei Netherton shot 76 and Bentlee Voss shot 79.

The 4A State Championship was played on Monday and Tuesday at the Robert Trent Jones course at the Shoals in Muscle Shoals.
