New assistnt principals for Brewer High, Cotaco and Lacey’s Spring schools

Morgan County Schools approved the hiring of three administrators this past week, continuing to fill vacancies to prepare schools for students when they return Aug. 8.
Don Farley was hired as the assistant principal of Brewer High School. He is replacing Ben Estes, who was promoted to principal at Cotaco School in June. Morgan County Schools said Farley has been teaching for 19 years and was a football coach for 26 years at West Point High School in Cullman.
Adriana Denby was hired as the assistant principal for Cotaco School. A 20-year educator, Morgan County Schools said Denby has worked in different countries as a teacher, English language curriculum specialist, parental engagement specialist and assistant principal.
Marcy Reynolds will begin her role as the assistant principal at Lacey’s Spring Elementary. Reynolds has been in the education field for 21 years, beginning as an English teacher in China before returning to the United States, according to Morgan County Schools. The district said the majority of Reynolds’ career was spent working for Decatur City Schools.
Farley, Denby, and Reynolds will all begin work on Thursday.
