Sherman Benjamin Henderson

Eva Funeral service for Sherman Benjamin Henderson, 94, will be Sunday, July 21, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ralph Henderson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Center Springs Cemetery. Mr. Henderson passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at his residence. He was born May 2, 1930, in Morgan County, to Gracie Allen. He was employed by General Motors, as an auto worker and Inspector, prior to his retirement. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, who loved gardening, travel, his church, campfires and loved his family dearly with all of his heart. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, who served in the Korean War.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Jessie Doris Henderson, his parents, and sons, Sherman Dwight and Jesse Dewayne Henderson. Survivors include his son, Lester Henderson; daughter, Diane Henderson- Siciliani; sister, Shelby Brackins; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
