Henry Eddie Holt

Falkville Henry Eddie Holt, 80, of Falkville, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024, at Baptist Medical Center-Princeton. Born August 2, 1944, in Morgan County, he was the son of Luther Otto Holt and Katie Robinson Holt.

A funeral service was held Thursday, August 29, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Phillip Hines officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial took place in Herring Cemetery.

Mr. Holt worked as a maintenance mechanic for 35 years at 3M before retiring. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, married to his beloved wife, Shelia Lawrence Holt, for 61 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Katie and Luther Holt; his brothers, Billy, Wiley, Dauris, and Luther Wayne Holt; and his sister, Nancy Stringer.

Survivors include his wife, Shelia Holt; sons, Rowdy Holt (Marla) and Bradley Holt (Heather); daughters, Joyce Turrentine (Shannon) and Melissa Oden (Darrell); grandchildren, Luke Holt, Chad Girodo, Garrett Turrentine, Mikayla Moore, Mallorie Oden, Baylee Wallace, Katie Beth Laney, Annabelle Vest, Olivia Vest, Brady Holt, Presley Vest, Briley Holt, and Taytum Holt; great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Luke Holt, Chad Girodo, Brady Holt, Garrett Turrentine, Seth Wallace, and Logan Laney.
