Larry Wayne Vandiver

Hartselle Larry Wayne Vandiver, 77, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born April 17, 1947, in Morgan County, to James Leldon Vandiver and Audrey Mozelle Stephenson Vandiver. He was a loving husband, father, ‘Paps’ and brother, who loved spending time with his family. He loved woodworking, yard work, Alabama football and watching his grandkids grow up. He also enjoyed spending time at Lacon Trade-Day where he had tons of friends. Preceding him in death were his parents and siblings; Charles Vandiver, Jimmie Zell Jeffries, Karleen Wallace, Betty Thompson, Norma Boger, Jerry Vandiver and Dale Vandiver.

Survivors include his wife, Hilda Jackson Vandiver; son, Rodney Bullard (Shenoia); daughters, Leigh Ann Tidwell (Trai), Pam Kelsoe (Tracy); brother, William Rogers ‘Rod’ Vandiver (Amanda); grandchildren, Amber Tanner, Austin Tanner (Letia), Alex Skinner (Shane), London Tidwell (Kaylee), Eli Tidwell and Savanna Bullard; great-grandchildren, Raven Tanner, Ava Denton, Evalyn Skinner and Penelope Tidwell; special friend, Don Long and his four-legged furry friend, Skeeter. No services are scheduled at this time.
