Charles ‘Morgan’ Middleton, Jr.

Decatur Funeral service for Charles ‘Morgan’ Middleton, Jr., 81, was held Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 6:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Tony Willis officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 10, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home. Mr. Middleton passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Summerford Nursing Home. He was born March 12, 1943, in Sheffield County, to Charles Morgan Middleton, Sr. and Mildred Akin Middleton. He was employed with General Electric as a maintenance worker prior to his retirement. Morgan was a member of the Patillo Street Church of God and loved his family dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Nancy Spencer.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Rioux Middleton; sons, Jeffrey Middleton (Delynda), Stephen Middleton (Kimberly), and Rocky Middleton; daughters, Beverly Smith Gross (Philip) and Jennifer Smith Lucas; sister, Jane Hudson; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
