A funeral service for Annie R. Boyd, 88, was held Saturday, Dec. 28, 2024, at 1 p.m. at Eva Baptist Church with Bro. Phillip Roberson officiating. Burial will be at Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church cemetery. Mrs. Boyd passed away Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2024, at Falkville Health Care. She was born March 25, 1936, to George and Bessie Childers. She was a lifelong member of Eva Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, L.D. Boyd; and several siblings.

Survivors include her brother, G.C. Childers Jr.; sisters, Barbara Frost and Gayle Frost; and a host of nieces and nephews.
