Mark Lynn Reeves

Damascus, Oregon Mark Lenn Reeves of Damascus, Oregon passed away October 28, 2024. He was born September 3, 1967, to Gene N. Reeves and Susan Scoggins Reeves.

Mark lived most of his life in and around Hartselle, Ala., where he graduated high school from Hartselle High School in 1985. He moved to the west coast where he met Mona and fell in love. They married November 20,1993. They had 31 wonderful years together. Mark hired on Hanset Stainless in 1995. When he passed away, he was head estimator for the company. Above all else Mark loved his family. He served his church tirelessly, and doggedly pursued Christlikeness which was testified to by the 400+ people that attended his memorial service at Trinity Church in Portand on November 2. He was a member, elder and pastor at Saving Grace Church in Milwaukie, Ore. He shared Jesus with everyone he met.

Mark was preceded in death by his grandparents Sanders Reeves and Vinnie Reeves, Richard J. Scogins Sr. and Glen Lorraine Looney Scoggins; his father, Gene N. Reeves; and infant uncle, Curtis Loyd Scoggins.

He is survived by his wife, Mona Gwen Reeves of Damascus, Ore., two daughters, Corinna Reeves Pulatie and husband Caleb Pulatie of Damascus, Ore., and Victoria Reeves and partner Anthony Quido of Longview Wash., and his mother, Susan Scoggins Spam of Dublin Texas, a hlf-brother, William Gerald Wiggins of Lakeland Fla., special friends, Sue Calderwood and family of Portland, Ore., and a host of relatives that loved him.

He was laid to rest at the New Line Oak Cemetery in Dublin, Texas
