Rickey Junior Wilbanks

Hartselle Rickey Junior Wilbanks, 65, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025, at his residence. He was born December 21, 1959, in Morgan County, Ala. to Carlos John Wilbanks Jr. and Shirley Sue Key. He was a loving father and an amazing grandfather. He loved his grandchildren and listening to bluegrass music. He loved his family. He retired from the City of Decatur Parks and Recreation Department after 10 years of service. He was preceded in death by his father and a daughter, Jessica Kirby. Survivors include his mother, Shirley Wilbanks; his wife, Pamela Kay Wilbanks; three daughters, Jackie Watkins (Petey), Jennifer Houston (Butch) and Jamie Wilbanks; a brother, Lyndell Willbanks (Laura); a sister, Angela Orr (Chris); five grandchildren, Jax, Ella, Jillie, Brody and Brant; several nieces, nephews and cousins. No services are planned at this time.
