Shirley King Howard
Meridianville A Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Shirley King Howard, 85, was held Sunday, February 16, 2025, at 2:30 PM at Oak Ridge Cemetery with Geoff Halbrooks officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Howard died on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Madison Manor Nursing & Rehab Center. She was born December 5, 1939, in Morgan County, to Gilbert Eugene King and Mary Eugie Ward King. She was a homemaker for her family, whom she dearly loved. She was a member of Flint River Baptist Church in Hazel Green. Mrs. Howard was a Huntsville native but was originally from Hartselle, and was a graduate of Falkville High School, class of 1958.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Roy Howard; a son, Tony Howard; a daughter, Cindy Howard; her parents; three brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include her daughter, Darlene K. Neece; son, Timothy Howard (Michele); sisters, Nell Dobbins and Betty Randolph; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Chris Eng, Jake Neece and Steve Neece.
