Hartselle A funeral service for Rebecca Stricklin, 59, was held Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Michael Gunter officiating. Burial was in Enon Baptist Cemetery, in Eva, Alabama. Ms. Stricklin died on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born July 19, 1965, in Cullman County, to Robert Darrell Stricklin, Sr. and Latheda Katherine Nelson Gentry. She was employed by Cerrowire for a time prior to her passing. She was a good mother and grandmother and will be missed by those who knew and loved her. Her parents preceded her in death. Survivors include her stepfather, Terry Gentry; her daughter, Aleicia Barbee; her brother, Junior Stricklin (Kim); her grandchild, Gavin Barbee (Mary Anna); and great grandchildren, Emberlyn and Haisley. Pallbearers were family and friends.
