Funeral for Linda Slaten, 43, of Decatur was Friday, May 4, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff Collins officiating.
Burial was in Cheatham Cemetery in Lawrence County.
Mrs. Slaten died Monday, April 30, 2007, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born May 28, 1963, in Bay Shore, N.Y. She moved to North Alabama in 1983. She was a homemaker who enjoyed playing bingo with family and friends. She attended Cornerstone Church in Moulton and was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Perrone.
She is survived by her husband, Frankie Slaten of Decatur; a son, David Behan of Vinemont; two daughters, Rachel Behan of Clanton and Donna Behan of Decatur; her father, Robert Perrone of Danville; a brother, Fred Behan of Decatur; two sisters, Sandra Ford of Alabaster and Debra Russell of Danville; a grandmother, Dorthey Corn of Clanton, Ga.; three grandchildren, Amber, Christian and Isaac; and a host of other family members and friends.
Pallbearers were Steven Ford, David Russell, Mickey Russell, Dakota Slaten. Bubba Gilliland and Rex Cole.
