Funeral for Larry Wayne Mayo, 54, of Falkville was Sunday, Jan. 4, at 2 p.m. at Hill Top Church of God with the Rev. Bill Partridge officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
Mr. Mayo died Friday, Jan. 2, 2008, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was born June 8, 1954, in Etowah County to Troy Erval Mayo and Audie Lee Widner Mayo. He was preceded in death by his mother.
He is survived by a son, Joshua Wayne Mayo; a daughter, Cynthia Jean Mayo Hemming; his father, Troy E. Mayo; four sisters, Kathy Mayo, Connie Mayo Morris and Chiquita Mayo Moore, all of Hartselle and Bonnie Mayo McCright of Falkville; and a granddaughter, Hayley Hemming.
Pallbearers were Josh Mayo, Terry Mayo, Dale McCright, Stevi Joe McCright, Gerry Mitchell and Charles Crowell.
