Funeral for Ezra Ishmel “Pee Wee” Martin, 89, of Danville was Saturday, November 7, at 11 a.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tom Elder officiating.
Burial was in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Martin died Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born June 30, 1920, in Morgan County to Elmer Martin and Savannah McClusky Martin. He was a member of Basham United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Ishmel Joe Martin. The family would like to thank a special niece, Robin McKay, for her special love and care that she gave to Mr. Martin.
He is survived by a son, Larry Martin and wife Jan of Danville; a brother, James H. Martin of Hartselle; a daughter-in-law, Donnie Martin; three grandchildren, Colette White, James White and Brett White; five nieces, Robin McKay, Nancy Hagood, Frida Jo Watkins, Katrina Martin and Josephine Terry; and five nephews, Jimmy Martin, Rod Farrell, Wallace Martin, Larry Martin and Michael Martin.
Pallbearers were James White, Brett White, Charles Heard, John Boger, Brad Price and Derrick Brown.
