Funeral for Edith Lott Posey, 71, of Hartselle was Tues., Dec. 1, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Joey McAbee officiating.
Burial was in Mount Tabor Cemetery.
Mrs. Posey died Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009, at her residence. She was born May 29, 1938, in Morgan County to Leon Lott and Willie L. Lott. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Michael D. Posey.
She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Franks and husband Martin of Somerville; two grandchildren, Josh Franks, Nickolas Franks and wife Cassandra; and a great-grandchild, Hollie Franks.
Pallbearers were Taz Swartz, Pete Norman, John Wright, Rickey Bracken, Joey McAbee and Wayne Boyer.
