Lady Hawks pick up two wins at Supreme Courts

The Danville Lady Hawks improved to 7-1 with two wins at Supreme Courts in Guntersville. They defeated Sand Rock 46-43 and Woodville 51-16.

Danville 46, Sand Rock 43 Maddie Sherrill finished with 15 points, five rebounds and five assists in the Lady Hawks win over Sand Rock. Adily Alberti added 12 points and five rebounds.

Danville 51, Woodville 16 Sherrill and Alberti each had 12 points as the Lady Hawks defeated Woodville. Sherril also had five assists and two blocks, while Alberti added five rebounds. Addison Prater had 10 points and six rebounds.

Brewer 32, Oneonta 25 Andee Emerson finished with nine points and four rebounds in the Lady Patriots’ 32-25 win over Oneonta. Hannah Morrison added nine rebounds and three blocks.

Athens 51, Brewer 49

The Lady Patriots dropped a close one to Athens at the Encore Classic, losing 51-49. Madisyn Freeman finished with 17 points and five rebounds, while Morrison had 14 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks.

Wayne County (Tenn.) 53, Priceville 40 Leah Childress finished with 13 points and three assists in a 53-40 loss to Wayne County (Tenn.) Chastity Black added 11 points. Josie Childress added seven rebounds.

Loretto (Tenn.) 60, Priceville 43 Leah Childress finished with 17 points in the Lady Bulldogs 60-43 loss to Loretto (Tenn.)

Cullman Christian 51, Falkville 50 Leah Pierce finished with a triple-double, 35 points, 12 steals and 10 rebounds, in the Lady Blue Devils 51-50 loss to Cullman Christian. Kaitlyn Bullard added 13 points, four rebounds and four assists.
