Harold B. Jenkins

Funeral for Harold B. Jenkins, 81, of Danville was Friday, June 28, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with the Revs. C.G. Reding and Nathan Childers officiating.
A military graveside service was held in Morris Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Jenkins died Tuesday, June 25, 2002, at Decatur General Hospital. He worked for Pepsi Cola Company as a repairman, was a member of Enon Baptist Church, and a United States Army veteran of World War II, where he received a Purple Heart. He was a member of the 12th Calvary in the United States Army in the South Pacific Operation. He was the brother of the late Vernon Jenkins and Bessie Melson.
He is survived by one daughter, Carolyn Smith of Decatur; two sons, Gary Jenkins of Danville and Floyd Jenkins of Moulton; one brother, Curtis Jenkins of Trinity; three grandchildren; two step grandchildren; one great grandchild; and one step great grandchild.
Pallbearers were church members and friends.
