Funeral for Sara Arnett Maxwell, 73, of Hartselle, was Saturday, Dec. 6, at 10 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ron Wilson officiating.
Burial was in Antioch Cemetery.
Mrs. Maxwell died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2003, at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham. She was born March 10, 1930, in Jefferson County to Thomas Arnett and Jessie Vessels Arnett. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hartselle. She was preceded in death by her son Tommy Mason and one brother, Pete Arnett.
Mrs. Maxwell is survived by her husband, Bly Maxwell of Hartselle; one daughter, Linda Houston of Hartselle; one step son, Roger Maxwell; one stepdaughter Carron Trainor; two brothers, Robert Allen and Ben Allen; one sister, Diane Hardin; two grandchildren, Kelli Stinson and Joey Mason; three stepgrandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
