Funeral for Earl R. Legg, 88, of Danville was Friday, June 11, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Legg officiating.
Burial was in Andrews Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Legg died Wednesday, June 9, 2004, at his residence. He was born Jan. 29, 1916, in Morgan County to Columbus and Florence Legg. He was a master carpenter. He was a Baptist. Mr. Legg was preceded in death by his son, Randy Legg.
He is survived by his wife, Opal Burgess Legg of Danville; three sons, Roger Legg and wife Margaret of Decatur, Jimmy Legg and wife Diane of Hartselle and Steve Legg and wife K.J. of Decatur; two sisters, Vicille Hill and Mary Dean Wiley, both of Speake; four grandchildren, Heath Legg, Jana Tucker, Stephanie Powell and Lori Kyker; and two great grandchildren, Katie Powell and Brock Powell.
Pallbearers were friends of the family.
