Funeral for Sarah Jane Whisante, 70, of Lacey's Spring was Friday, July 15, at 11 a.m. at Valhermoso Springs Holiness Church with the Revs. Melvin Brown and Don Trosper officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Valhermoso Springs Holiness Cemetery.
Mrs. Whisante died Tuesday, July 12, 2005, at Cogburn Nursing Center in Huntsville. She was born Aug. 18, 1934, in Morgan County to Charley C. Wilson and Edna Mae Brazler Wilson. She was a member of Valhermoso Springs Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Truman Whisante.
She is survived by one brother, Walter Wilson and wife Glenda of Valhermoso Springs; and two sisters, Dollie Lawrence and husband Joe of Union Grove and Ola Lenox of Valhermoso Springs.
