Funeral for Kenneth James Ball, 51, of Vinemont was Friday, Mar. 25, at 2 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Larry Duke and Tim Aris officiating.
Burial was in Panama Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Ball died Tuesday, Mar. 23, 2010. He was born Sept. 27, 1958, in Hartselle to Melvin James Ball and Freda Joyce Ball. He was a homebuilder for Valley Homes in Priceville for 15 to 20 years before starting Ball Construction. He loved his work and strived to please his homeowners. He loved Alabama football, NASCAR and spending time with his family. He enjoyed playing outside with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin James Ball; his grandparents, David and Myrtie Bennefield and Samuel Andrew and Georgia Ball.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Glenda Dale Woodall Ball; two daughters, Britney Danielle Perry and husband Chip and Stacy Nicole Blackwood and husband Brad, all of Cullman; his mother, Freda Joyce Ball Johnson of Cullman; step-father, Bennie Clifford Johnson of Cullman; two sisters, Wanda Millwood Echols and husband Wendell of Cullman, Sonya Ashley Jenkins and husband Gary of Lawrence County; two stepsisters, Anna Rink and husband Ed and Amy Anderson and husband Matt; two grandchildren, Chase Blackwood and Cabri Blackwood; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Pallbearers were Mark Powell, Heath Lake, Kim Ball, Blake Ball, Blake Millwood, Jason Baker and Stephen Millwood.
