Robert L. Smith

A memorial service for Robert Lyman Smith, 69, of Addison will be Sat., Oct. 2, at 1 p.m. at Meek Baptist Church in Arley with Drs. Richard Welch and Richard Nettles officiating.
Mr. Smith died Sat., Sept. 25, 2010, at Palliative Care Center in Birmingham. He was employed part-time with Kroger’s in Hartselle.
He is survived by his wife, Minnie L. Smith, a son, John David Smith of Altamonte Springs, Fla.; a daughter, Shannon Denice Smith of Clermont, Fla.; a son-in-law, Joe Sowinski of Clermont, Fla.; a stepson, Keith Barbin and wife Manuela; four grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Meek Baptist Church Building Fund.
