Kenneth Marvin Smith

Funeral for Kenneth Marvin Smith, 57, Danville will be Thursday, June 30, at 10 a.m. at Peck Funeral  Home Chapel.

Burial will be in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park.

Mr. Smith died Monday, June 27, 2011, at his residence. He was born August 6, 1953, in Tuscaloosa County to Percy Smith and Molly Beard Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Travis Smith; a brother, Edward Gregory Smith; and a sister, Dorthy Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Juana Smith; a son, Kenneth Smith of Danville; a daughter, Esther Hernandez-Oettle and husband Jimmy; two brothers, Clyde Smith and Ersley Smith, both of Tuscaloosa; two sisters, Juanita Gunter of Fayette and Opal Smith of Tuscaloosa; and four grandchildren, Travis, Ryan, Chasity and Charity Hernandez.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Oettle, Kevin Sullivan, Jesse Sullivan, Brandon Smith, Marce Bruce and Scott Griesemer.
