Helen Christine Walden

Funeral for Helen Christine Walden, 80, of Danville was Monday, July 11, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hal Daigre officiating.

Mrs. Walden died Saturday, July 9, 2011, at Lawrence County Medical Center. She was born Sunday, May 10, 1931, in Lawrence County to Ewing Bean and Rosie Lee Flannigan Bean. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Odis Walden; three brothers, Sam Bean, Wintford Bean, S.B. Bean; and a sister, Bernice Cagle.

She is survived by a son, Odis Dwight Walden of Hartselle; a daughter, Joyce Walden Bryant of Danville; two sisters, Mammie Marie Dutton and Melba Lipscomb; and five grandchildren, Eric Walden, Brittney Walden, Ethan Roberts, Lacey Roberts and Quinn Roberts.

Pallbearers were Jake Dutton, Sammie Bean, Joey Bean, Jack Bean, Nathaniel Little and Ronald Little.

Honorary pallbearers were Joel Dutton, Bobby Dutton and Johnny Dutton.
