Bertha Elizabeth “Ann” Stone

Funeral for Bertha Elizabeth “Ann” Stone, 68, of Hartselle was Fri., July 29, at 1 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tim McCormick officiating.

Burial was in Oden Ridge Cemetery.

Mrs. Stone died Tues., July 26, 2011, at her residence. She was born May 24, 1943, in Morgan County to Virgil Leldon Harris and Bertha Lucille Roy Harris. She was a member of Mt. View Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Clark Eugene Stone, and a brother, Emmett Virgil Harris.

She is survived by her husband, William Clark Stone of Hartselle; two sons, William Ray Stone and wife Barbara of Hartselle and Tommy Wayne Stone and wife Earline of Vinemont; two stepdaughters, Elizabeth Ann Robinson and husband Andy of Hartselle and Virginia Ann Brown and husband Dan of Lawrence County; a brother, Billy Wayne Harris of Vinemont; three sisters, Wanda Faye Tockman of Cabot, Ark., Carrie Etta Henderson of Vinemont and Helen Louise Scott of Somerville; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Gregory Stone, Michael Stone, Tommy Stone, Samuel Stone, Preston Large and Jonathon Collins.
