Jared “J-Mo” Moore

Funeral for Jared “J-Mo” Moore, 21, of Danville will be Thurs., (today), Aug. 4, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. David Hale and Jack Bailey officiating.

Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.

Mr. Moore died Sat., July 30, 2011, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born June 20, 1990, in Morgan County to James Moore and Joyce Marie Morgan Moore. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Redding Morgan, J.D. Moore and Lola Burt Keenum and a cousin, Jeff Johnson.

He is survived by his parents, James and Joyce Marie Morgan Moore of Danville; two sisters, Jennifer Moore and husband Justin and Jada Moore, all of Danville; his grandmother, Frances Morgan of Danville; and two nieces, Millie Kate and Gracie Jones, both of Danville.

Pallbearers will be T.J. Allen, Justin Barber, Jake Mahathy, Daniel Morgan, Clint McAbee, Dallas McAbee, Joey Miller and Michael Veezey.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association.
