Funeral for Zemon S. Crow, 91, of Danville will be Tues., Sept. 13, at 4 p.m. at Friendship Church South of Danville with the Revs. Dan Compton and Dewey Briscoe officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be Tues., Sept. 13, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the church.

Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.

Mr. Crow died Sat., Sept. 10, 2011, at Huntsville Hospital from injuries he sustained in a highway accident on Thurs., Sept. 8. He was born Dec. 11, 1919, in Lawrence County to Dr. James Samuel Crow and Dona Bell Miller Crow. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in Japan, was retired from Wolverine Tube in Decatur after 33 years and was a cattle farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Marie Crow of Danville; a son, Sammy Crow and wife Cathy of Danville; two daughters, Brenda Seifried and husband Charles of Decatur and Vicki Lewis and husband Randy of Hartselle; two sisters, Essie Holladay of Danville and Hazel Holladay of Falkville; and five grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Brian Crow, Brett Crow, Caleb Lewis, Charles Seifried, Randy Lewis and Paul Crow.

Honorary pallbearers were Billy Joe Crow, Joe Ockerman and Billy Holmes.
