Funeral for Deborah J. Pitts, 56, of Hartselle will Wed., Sept. 21, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Danny Garrison officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.

Ms. Pitts died Sat., Sept. 17, 2011, at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham. She was born Dec. 8, 1954, in Morgan County to Woodrow Brown Sr. and Gwendolyn McGhee Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Arvin “Buddy” Brown and a grandson, Noah Gentry. She was a member of Christ Fellowship Church of God.

She is survived by two sons, Robby Pitts and Johnny Pitts, both of Hartselle; two daughters, Stephanie Stoner and husband Stephen of Dyersburg, Tenn. and Stacy Pitts of Hartselle; a brother, Woodrow Brown Jr. of Hartselle; three sisters, Carolyn Burns and Jackie Blackwood, both of Hartselle and Betty Long of Decatur; and four grandsons.

Pallbearers were nephews.
