James Darryl Murphy

Funeral for James Darryl Murphy, 48, of Somerville will be Thur., Aug. 2, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Stanley Reeves officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in New Center Cemetery. Visitation will be Tues., July 31, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Murphy died Sun., July 29, 2012, at Parkway Medical Center. He was born March 16, 1964, in Morgan County to James Donald Murphy and Shirley Ann Engle Murphy. He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Murphy; a son, Richie Murphy; a daughter, Savannah Murphy; his mother, Shirley Ann Engle Murphy; a brother, Donnie Murphy; three sisters, Cindy Motes, Donna Garcia and Carla Rodriquez; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and his in-laws.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
