Hartselle’s local theatre organization, College Street Players, invite you to be their guests this June as they perform the hit Broadway musical, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.

The production dates are June 22-25 at the Hartselle High School auditorium, located at 1000 Bethel Rd. NE. There will be three evening performances and two matinees.

The musical recounts a tale as old as time, or at least as old as 1994, when the musical first premiered on Broadway.

“Beauty and the Beast: The Musical” is a timeless tale that explores the transformative power of love, teaching us to look beyond appearances and find beauty within. Through its captivating music, dazzling choreography, and heartfelt performances, the musical enchants audiences of all ages, reminding them that true beauty lies in compassion, acceptance and the power of redemption.

The play is the final production for College Street Players’ 2022-23 season. Earlier this year, the players performed CSP Through the Years (November 2022) and Frozen Jr. (February 2023.)
The show is being directed by Jenny Faulk, who serves as the CSP president. David Giambrone will serve as musical director, and Libby Lang and Bennett Perez will play the title roles of Belle and the Beast, respectively.

Admission is $25 for priority seating, $18 for general admission, $15 for students and seniors, and free for children three years old and younger.

Tickets are now available at www.collegestreetplayers.org
