“Ruby Red”

By Kerstin Gier

Gwyneth Shepherd’s sophisticated, beautiful cousin Charlotte has been prepared her entire life for traveling through time. Unexpectedly, Gwyneth is the one with this most special ability.
Now, she must unearth the mystery of why her mother would lie about her birth date, brush up on her history, and work with Gideon – the time traveler from a similarly gifted family. His gift passes the gene through its male line while Gwyneth’s passes down through the female line. Together, Gwyneth and Gideon journey through time to discover who in the 18th century and in contemporary London they can trust.

The first in a trilogy, you will travel along with Gwyneth and Gideon through time and space while they unearth secrets while protecting the present and future. “Ruby Red” is full of adventures. It has it all, romance, treasure hunting and mystery. It’s a great read for teens and adults alike.

“Ship Wrecked”

By Olivia Dade

In the third book in the “Spoiler Alert” series, Peter is a somewhat famous actor with hopes of becoming an A lister. However, that isn’t easy when he is already in his thirties and the roles he does get aren’t getting him critical attention. This is why his new role in “Gods of the Gates” is so important. This role has the ability to make him an A lister and get him the critical acclaim he desires. Maria is a famous stage actress in Sweden. This new role in “Gods of the Gates” will be her first non-theatre gig. While the role is nice, Maria doesn’t need it to achieve fame. Their two personalities clash when they are forced to work together on a secluded island for six years while filming “Gods of the Gates.” During those six years, they fought their natural attraction for each other and tried to just be friends. Although now, they aren’t co-stars anymore and can finally give into their chemistry. Maybe they will finally talk about the secret/not-so-secret hook-up they had the night before they were officially cast in “Gods of the Gates.”
