Woman killed in interstate crash in Falkville

A two-vehicle crash March 8 in Falkville has claimed the life of a Crane Hill woman, according to state troopers.  

Kayla E. Haynes, 37, was fatally injured when the 2005 Toyota Corolla that she was driving struck a 2016 Peterbilt tractor-trailer driven by Markus W. Hutton, 51, of Pulaski, Tenn.  

Hanes was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash occurred on Interstate 65 near the 322-mile marker, within the Falkville city limits, troopers said.
