Prep baseball roundup: Priceville gets win over Brewer

The Priceville Bulldogs picked up a huge win over rival Brewer to highlight the week. The Patriots sandwiched two run rule victories around the loss to the Bulldogs.

Priceville 12, Brewer 1 Colman Gann starred on the mound and in the batter’s box to lead Priceville to a 12-3 win over Brewer in their rivalry matchup. He singled, drove in a pair of runs, and pitched three scoreless innings to win. He allowed three hits and while striking out eight.

Sawyer Mims had two hits and an RBI, while Jack Eubanks added a hit, an RBI and scored two runs for the Bulldogs.

Cole Drinkard had three hits and an RBI for the Patriots.

Brewer 10, Clements 0 Jansen Brown singled and drove in three runs to lead Brewer to a 10-0 win over Clements. Hunter Knighten picked up the win, allowing no hits with three strikeouts, while Nathan Butler worked the final 3 2/3 innings in relief, allowing two hits while striking out nine.

Brewer 10, Austin 0

Brewer started the big with a big victory over 7A Austin. Cole Drinkard had three hits and a pair of RBIs to lead the Patriots to a 10-0 win. Hunter Knighten added three hits and scored three runs.
