Thompson K's 12 in Danville win over Addison

Kristen Thompson struck out 12 batters in Danville's road win Monday afternoon. She also helped lead the Lady Hawks offensively, hitting a two-run home run in the fifth inning.
Nicole Linderman singled twice for Danville and Bethany Evans and Brittany Atkins each singled once. Kristen Sparkman and Mallory George each had an RBI in the win.
Danville 7, Brewer 3
Kristen Sparkman knocked in three runs with a double and a single to lead Danville's Lady Hawks to a 7-3 road win over Brewer's Lady Patriots on April 4. Whitney Haggamaker contributed a pair of singles and Mallory George had an RBI and a stolen base.
For Brewer, Genie Browning had a single and a stolen base and Jessica Ryan added a single.
Brittany Atkins was the winning pitcher. She struck out seven batters in a complete game performance.
