A couple is facing burglary charges in connection to two break-ins at Hartselle businesses.
Chase Robin Keenum, 20, of 2716 Sandlin Road SW in Decatur and Jennifer Beth Geisenhoff, 21, of 404 Henderson Greenwell in Somerville, are charged with two separate counts of burglary in the third degree for incidents at Buy-Rite Drugs and Holiday Antiques. Hartselle police responded to a burglar alarm at Buy-Rite Drugs on July 4. Police found various prescription medications had been stolen and a surveillance camera caught a white male and female driving a white Monte Carlo. Decatur police later spotted and detained the suspects.
They were brought to Hartselle and booked on $750 bond each in connection with the Buy-Rite burglary. Police later said they found antiques while searching the couple's car that led them to charge them with the burglary at Holiday Antiques.
