Woman charged with drug manufacturing

A Hartselle woman is charged with manufacturing and possessing drugs after her car was stopped by Decatur police last week.
Melissa Tucker Carroll, 45, of 2018 Collier Drive, is charged with unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance in the second degree, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Carroll’s car was stopped on 3512 6th Ave, SE for failing to use a turn signal.
Officers searched the car and found methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and items used to manufacture methamphetamine.
