HJHS initiates Student of the Month program

Hartselle Junior High School has initiated a new means of recognizing students who shine in the classroom.
A boy and a girl from each class will be singled out monthly as “Students of the Month” honorees. Selection criteria includes a positive attitude and performance in the classroom. Honorees will be able to claim a seat of their choice in the lunchroom and receive free ice cream on Fridays.
Students selected for the honor in August were: sixth grade—Jordan Westmoreland and Jackson Roberts; seventh grade—Tucker King and Claire Forsythe; eighth grade—Ben Paulsen and Rebecca Romager.
