    Weddings and Engagements

    Chappell, Bussey exchange vows
    Amanda Michelle Chappell of Falkville and Micaiah Josiah Bussey of Hartselle were wed Sept. 13, 2008, at Priceville Baptist Church.
    The bride is the daughter of Donnie and Donna Chappell of Falkville. The groom is the son of Lyle and Belinda Bussey of Hartselle.
    Andy Grant officiated the ceremony.
    The bride was given in marriage by her father and walked down the aisle to the song “Butterfly Kisses.”
    Pamela Dodgen of Danville was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Rebecca Gibson, sister of the bride, of Hartselle, Dewana Bowling of Hartselle and Kim Robbins of Hartselle.
    Flower girl was Christina Chappell, sister of the bride, of Falkville.
    Ring bearer was Jonathan Chappell, brother of the bride, of Falkville.
    Best man was Adam Bussey, brother of the groom, of China Grove, N.C.
    Groomsmen were Isaac Adam Bussey, brother of the groom, of Hartselle, Andrew Pulaski of Morgan City, and Caleb Chappell, brother of the bride, of Falkville.
    Ushers were Joshua Chappell, Jacob Chappell, Joseph Chappell, all brothers of the bride, all of Falkville and Jacob Pulaski.
    Vocalist Angi Parker sang “When God Made You.”
    Music was provided by the groom, who played the guitar and sang “I Will Be Here,” to his bride during the ceremony. The reception was held at the Fellowship Hall of Priceville Baptist Church.
    The wedding was directed by Cindy Pulaski. Assisting with the reception were Katie Cedillo and the groom’s sisters, Gloria Jared, Irene Daniels, Angel Reber, Leah Bussey and Sarah Bussey.
    After a honeymoon trip to Pigeon Forge, Tenn. the couple will reside in Hartselle.
    The couple was honored with several prenuptial events, including:
    Crow, Summerford exchange vows
    Jaime Lyn Crow of Hartselle and Jeffrey Paul Summerford of Hartselle were wed Oct. 4, 2008, at East Highland Baptist Church in Hartselle.
    Rev. Walter Blackman performed the service.
    The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Bell Jr. of Hartselle and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Crow of Danville. The groom is the son of Rev. and Mrs. Paul Summerford of Hartselle.
    The bride was given in marriage by her father.
    She wore a formal gown in diamond white from the Grace Kelly bridal collection. The strapless gown with sweetheart neckline was of Monaco silk with glass crystals hand knotted with silver silk lam/ threading. The bodice featured a cummerbund adorned with the Royal Monaco Trussells which was repeated at the center of the cathedral train. She wore a tiara of hand set Swarovski crystals. Her chapel length silk veil, designed by Grace Kelly in 1956, was lightly gathered at the top and edged in hand sewn pearls. She wore her mother’s pearls and carried her grandmother’s wedding Bible with her bouquet of Virginia roses and stephanotis.
    Brandi McCleskey of Hartselle was maid of honor.
    Bridesmaids were Jodi Hyde of Hartselle, Alison Black of Hartselle, Rebecca Laney of Hanceville, Catie Keel of Tuscaloosa and Whitney Kelsoe of Decatur.
    Junior bridesmaid was Brittany Hogan of Danville. Flower girls were Kelsey Hogan of Danville and Karlie McCleskey of Hartselle.
    The groom’s father was best man.
    Groomsmen were Tim Copeland of Moulton, brother of the groom, Terry Crow of Danville, brother of the bride, Nick Peck of Birmingham, Jacob Moore of Hartselle, Whit Pressley of Hartselle, and David Pressley of Anderson, Ind.
    Junior groomsman was Garrett Kelsoe.
    Ring bearer was Dylan McCleskey of Hartselle.
    Wedding musicians were pianist Tammy Dewberry of Hartselle and saxophonist Mike Denson of Decatur. Vocalists were Tammy Winton and Jon and Jennifer Gerstman, all of Hartselle.
    A reception was held at Fairview Church of God of Falkville.
    Reception coordinator was Sherry Kemp of Decatur. Assisting with the reception were Suzette Amos, Aprel Bell, Lisa Copeland, Suzie Crow, Marie Griffith, Bridgette Guest, Susan Hogan, Cindy Jones, Phyllis Keel, Jamie Lawson, Cathie McGarity, Sharon Self, Charlotte Smith, Bonnie Weinman and Peggy White.
    Wedding director was Leslie Darafeev of Upland, Ca. and Stacy Burns of Hartselle.
    Deborah Nichols of Hartselle attended the guest register/gift table.
    After a wedding trip to Destin, Fla., the couple will reside in Hartselle.
    The couple was honored with several prenuptial events:
    Eaton, Tidwell exchange vows
    Bridget Leigh Eaton of Hartselle and Eric Shane Tidwell of Courtland were wed Sept. 20, 2008, at West Hartselle Baptist Church.
    The bride is the daughter of Brent and Martha Eaton of Hartselle. The groom is the son of Jerry and Linda Tidwell of Town Creek.
    Rev. Jack Redfearn Jr. officiated the ceremony.
    The church was decorated with ferns, greenery, and flower arrangements of white gladiolas and roses.
    The bride was given in marriage by her father.
    She wore a white V-neck satin A-line gown with a side wrap bodice anchored with floral embroidery.
    Her asymmetrical top skirt revealed an embroidered underskirt leading to a chapel train with scalloped hem of silver beads, sequins, crystals and pearls. The elbow-length, double-layer white veil was trimmed in pearls and held in place by a white pearl tiara. She carried a bouquet of red roses.
    Brittany Eaton of Hartselle, sister of the bride, was maid of honor.
    Bridesmaids were Christin Burns of Houston, Tex. Jada Cook Ward of Hartselle, Nikki Waugh Champion of Danville, cousin of the groom, and Lakin Tidwell of Hatton, niece of the groom.
    Bridesmaids wore floor-length red satin dresses with asymmetrical top skirts and halter top necklines.
    They carried bouquets of white roses.
    Kasey and Harley Champion of Danville, cousins of the bride, were flower girls.
    Lawson Dobbs of Somerville, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer.
    Lee Hitt of Courtland was best man.
    Groomsmen were Brandon Raney of Town Creek, Jeremy Tidwell of Hatton, brother of the groom, Chad Tidwell of Town Creek, brother of the groom, and Dusty Eaton of Hartselle, brother of the bride.
    Dustin Tidwell of Hatton, nephew of the groom, was church bell ringer.
    Music was provided by Deanna Anderson, pianist, and Kim Boggs, organist.

    The reception was held at the Wright Center at West Hartselle Baptist Church immediately following the wedding.
    The bride’s table featured a four-tier cake decorated in white icing and with scallops resembling pearls and red roses cascading down the front of the cake.
    The table was decorated with a satin white table cloth, embellished with pearls and red roses scattered all around.
    The groom’s cake was a round basket-weave chocolate cake and the table was decorated in his fire fighting memorabilia, as he is a volunteer firefighter in Courtland.
    Cynthia Russell directed the wedding. Assisting were Cissy Cook, Libby Davis, Eula Johnson, Deloice Sanford, Wanda Woodruff, Sabina Hernandez, Kelley Routh, Shelley, Hall, Carmen Copeland, Iris Wiggins, Judy Britnell, Chris Hulse and Charlene Woodruff.
    Holly Hitt of Courtland and Ana Hernandez of Town Creek, cousin of the groom, attended the bride’s book.
    After a honeymoon trip to Playa del Carmen, Mexico, the couple will reside in Hartselle.
    The couple was honored with several prenuptial events, including:
    Moseley, Clardy to wed
    Mr. and Mrs. Mickey C. Moseley of Moulton announce the engagement of their daughter, Jenny Leigh Moseley, to Jeremy Daniel Clardy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Clardy of Hartselle.
    The future bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. Jimmie Dell Moseley and the late Coleman Moseley of St. Stephens and the late John and Marjorie Stuckey of Jackson. She is a 2002 graduate of Lawrence County High School and attended the University of Alabama. She is employed by Grille 29 in Huntsville.
    The future groom is the grandson of Duncan and Lucille Clardy of Huntsville and Ben Findsen and the late Louise Findsen of Hartselle.
    A 1998 graduate of Covenant Christian Academy, he attended the University of Alabama. He is employed with Regal Employment in Hartselle.
    The wedding is planned for Nov. 22, 2008, at 3:30 p.m. at Moulton Baptist Church.
