Mr. Morgan died on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Brookwood Medical Center. He was born February 28, 1978, in Morgan County to James Benjamin Morgan, Sr. and Reba Barnett. Bobo Morgan was the greatest spouse, son, dad, brother, uncle, nephew, friend, mentor and cousin this world has ever known. To know him was to know true love. He loved trucking, working on motors, and teaching his nephews how to do all the things he knew how to do. He was a true genius; a one-of-a-kind man; and the world has lost a true angel. He was sent from Heaven and sent from God himself; and if you didn’t take the time to get to know him you really missed out on one of the biggest blessings bestowed on this earth. He was the heart and soul of the holler. He was employed by Shawn Dudley Trucking, as a driver and mechanic, prior to his passing. Survivors include his wife, Amy Cates; his mother, Reba Barnett, his father and stepmother, James Benjamin Morgan, Sr. and Shell Morgan; his sons, Wesley Levi Morgan, Austin Morgan, and Angel Velejo; his daughter; Kimberly Morgan, brothers, Jason Roberson, Mark McClellan, and Phillip Duncan; sister, Sissy Jo Morgan (Girt); grandson, Elijah Morgan; granddaughter, Lindey Morgan; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers were Angel Velejo, Randall Ball, Dewayne Morgan, Tyler Roberson, Shane Russell, and Bodie Wright.
